College Relations

College programs at McCain Foods USA

College programs are more than just a way to make some extra money. McCain's internship and Co-op programs provide you with the hands on work experience you're looking for, while also providing you with the opportunity to network with and learn from some of the finest professionals in the food industry.

As the largest privately held frozen food company in the world, we work with many of the top 100 quick service and casual dining restaurants that most people visit weekly, if not daily. If you'd like the chance to learn, grown and contribute this summer, consider an internship with McCain Foods.

College programs offer you the opportunity to:

  • Grow your Career — By working with McCain, you can evaluate your career options more effectively by actually working on projects that are relevant to the business. These projects will also give you an advantage upon graduation because you will have the tangible work experience employers look for.
  • Network — You'll get the chance to interact with senior executives and to work with professionals who excel in their field. You'll also have the opportunity to make contacts and form relationships you can use later on in your career.
  • Training — You will work in your particular field of interest, but will also have opportunities to gain a broad understanding of our business by working on cross-functional teams and visiting our plant locations.
What do we look for?

We look for individuals with a wide range experiences, both academically and personally. We expect you to have sound technical skills and problem solving abilities, but also want you to have strong interpersonal communications abilities. A big part of being good at what you do depends on your ability to interact with others and be a team player.

McCain is a great place to work, with a business casual dress-code, an on-site cafeteria and an outdoor lakeside picnic area, and plenty of employee events. We are located minutes from downtown Naperville and just off I-88 at either the Route 53 or Naperville Road exit.
