About Us

Almost anyone who eats french fries will at some point eat a McCain french fry. One of every three fries sold worldwide comes from McCain which translates into one hundred million servings of McCain french fries each and every day.

Founded by two brothers, Harrison and Wallace McCain, their first plant opened in 1957 in a tiny rural village in Canada. Over fifty years later, McCain has become the world’s only truly global french fry producer.

McCain Foods USA entered the U.S. market more than 30 years ago and is a leading supplier of frozen potato and snack food products for the foodservice markets, which includes major national food chains.
