Our people have been and will continue to be our greatest strength.
Embracing diversity is critical to our growth and prosperity. To reach our
goals, we have put in place a diversity and inclusion policy. We are firmly
committed to instilling this policy throughout all functional areas of our
organization, and to implement recruitment, training and other initiatives to
support its success.
We are also strongly committed to identifying opportunities to enhance the
diversity of our supplier base, particularly among small businesses, and to
paying special attention to the unique growth and development needs of women and
minorities.
Putting all our unique differences to work across the company is driven by
personal leadership from everyone in the company.

Executive Messages
Fostering a diverse and inclusive organization
gives McCain a competitive advantage. Diversity among our workforce, our
supplier base and within our relations with the community is central to our
success. Our work must reflect and respect the cultures, ideas and interests
of all the people we serve and the communities we touch.
—Vivian
Cosey-Glover, Chief Diversity Officer, McCain Foods USA
By valuing and respecting differences and
similarities in the workplace, we will be in a better position to win in the
marketplace. It is our goal to recruit and retain diverse talent that
reflects our customers and creates the environment where everyone can fully
contribute toward creating great McCain products.
—Anne Linsdau,
Vice President of Human Resources, McCain Foods USA
The products we make and deliver must meet or
exceed the customer’s expectations every time. This means that we are
constantly looking for innovation in our manufacturing processes and
procedures to keep us competitive. Sometimes the best ideas come from our
employees who know the systems better than anyone. Diversity in our work
force means we have the benefit of approaching a problem and having the
answers come from people with different backgrounds, perspectives and
experiences. The creative thinking that can come from this kind of employee
mix will ultimately benefit the company and our customers.
—David
Cowperthwait, Senior Vice President of Manufacturing, McCain Foods USA
With our progressive customer base, we must
continually renew ourselves to meet and exceed expectations in quality, cost
and service. As a result, we continue to look to our supplier base for new
and innovative ideas. Attracting new suppliers also enhances our ability to
look at our business in a different way. Having a diverse supplier base
allows us the opportunity to gain new insight and perspective which we
consider value added to our business and to our customers. We strongly
encourage qualified suppliers to reach out to McCain to help us renew our
business together.
—Laurie Jecha-Beard, Vice President of
Agriculture, McCain Foods USA
As an organization that aspires to be America's
Best Food Company we must be innovative, creative, and proactive in meeting
the needs of our consumers. Diversity in our staff and our suppliers enables
us to bring new and valuable perspectives to how we work and the decisions
we make. A diverse culture at McCain Foods will allow us to reach more
consumers by gaining specific insights about how diffferent customers think
of our products, how these products fit into their lives and what kinds of
attributes our products need to have to appeal to them.
—Frank
Finn, Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations, McCain Foods USA
